Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Cheats, Hacks & Exploits

To ensure fair gameplay, any form of cheating or exploiting is strictly prohibited.

  • 1.1. The usage of cheats, hacks, trainers, scripts, modified FiveM clients, or any game client modifications that may be construed as illegitimate is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.
  • 1.2. Use of any third-party software that alters regular gameplay in any manner (e.g. physics, AI behavior, players) is not allowed.
  • 1.3. The usage of any cheats or exploits that are the cause of a game bug, server bug, glitch or gameplay irregularity for the benefit of yourself or others is forbidden.
  • 1.4. Do not attempt to abuse or use any bugs, glitches, items or commands that are available when they shouldn't be, immediately report any related issues found that are evidently not for usage by regular players, or normally cannot be obtained.
  • 1.5. Do not attempt to 'overload' the game server in any way by intentionally spamming commands, causing a great deal of explosions with the usage vehicles, props, NPC/AI, or any other means with the intent of doing so.
  • 1.6. The usage of VPNs, proxies or any other IP changing software/tools is strictly forbidden as it provides a false form of identification of user accounts and their originating IP address. IPs are used to associate your account through unique identifiers and as such, using public domains, IPs, proxies, or VPNs can result in falsely being banned as accounts become connected under the same address.

Bug Reporting

  • If you discover a bug, glitch, or exploit, you must report it to staff as soon as possible — the easiest way to do so is to use the support ticket channel on Discord to notify a member of staff.
  • Knowingly using an exploit without reporting it may result in punishment, even if no direct advantage was gained.

2. In-Game Behaviour & Realism

This server is not a roleplay server focused on overly realistic gameplay; however, it does require a baseline level of realism, teamwork and respect so that everyone can enjoy an immersive gameplay experience — players are expected to act in a believable and cooperative manner, maintaining a reasonable conduct during general gameplay.

  • 2.1. Deathmatching (killing players without valid gameplay reason) is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • 2.2. When playing as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), you must at all times:
    • Act in a manner consistent with real-world policing
    • Use appropriate force escalation
    • Avoid reckless or unrealistic behavior (e.g., unnecessary ramming, excessive force without justification)
    • Coordinate with other officers during active calls: LSPD:FR Online is a cooperative experience — acting alone and 'hijacking' scenes for your own benefit is not allowed
    • Circling AI gang areas, farming spawns, or manipulating AI behavior for advantage is prohibited
  • 2.3. When playing as a civilian or any non-law enforcement role:
    • Behave in a realistic and believable manner
    • This is a law enforcement-first experience: playing as a civilian is a complementary role and must be conducted with a strict mindset of play to lose:
      • Do not consistently engage with law enforcement officers repeatedly for the same scenarios (e.g. pursuits) after having already conducted the same scenario recently
      • Act in a realistic manner at all times with respect to driving (realistic speeds and maneuvering, avoid stunt jumps, etc.)
    • Avoid intentionally provoking law enforcement or exploiting AI behavior
    • Do not repeatedly suicide, respawn, or force interactions to disrupt gameplay
    • Do not 'cop bait' or persistently attempt to antagonize law enforcement players to engage with you: LSPD:FR Online is a PvE focused experience and not all players wish to engage with other players in a PvP setting; if it is clear that another player is not interested in engaging with you, do not continue to antagonize or engage with them in any manner
  • 2.4. Backup Requests & Panic Button Activations
    • The request for backup, via your radio or in-game chat, must only be used explicitly where it is genuinely needed such as to not waste the time of other players who may otherwise be engaged in other gameplay activities
    • The panic button may only be used during legitimate emergencies
    • Repeated or continued misuse of panic button activations will result in punishment
  • 2.5. Intentionally disrupting callouts or the gameplay of other players is prohibited.

3. Respect & Community Conduct

This server is a shared space, respect for others is mandatory.

  • 3.1. English is the only language which may be spoken in public chat channels. For any other languages, you may privately message other players you would like to speak to within your own language.
  • 3.2. Acts such as racism, sexism, ageism, religious harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination is strictly prohibited.
    • 3.2.1. Discussing or engaging in conversations of a sensitive nature (e.g. politics, religion, regulation) in public chat channels is not allowed.
    • 3.2.2. The discussion or making references to content related to sex, drugs, self-harm, obscene gore, or other adult content is strictly prohibited and not allowed under any circumstances in any chat channel.
  • 3.3. Spamming chat, repeating your message multiple times or saying the same thing over and over again is not allowed.
    • 3.3.1. The usage of CAPITAL LETTERS in 80% or more of your message more than once every so often or where it does not make sense for you to do so is not allowed.
    • 3.3.2. Sending the same message or a message that is similar to the last is considerable as spamming. Saying the same message any more than two times is considered spamming.
  • 3.4. You must show an acceptable level of respect towards other players, maintaining yourself accordingly and not engaging in hostile conversations. Being disrespectful or harassing someone will only result in them being disrespectful back to you, whereas if you're friendly and help others, they are likely to do the same with you.
    • 3.4.1. General disrespectful and/or intolerable behaviour will not be accepted, and you may be punished at the discretion of staff members.
    • 3.4.2. General acts of trolling and/or excessive trolling is punishable at the discretion of staff members if they feel that the trolling being conducted is negatively influencing others or is intended to be harmful.
    • 3.4.3. Harassment, threatening, or intentionally antagonizing other players will result in punishment.
    • 3.4.4. Engaging in excessive toxicity, verbal abuse, or hostile behavior is not allowed.
  • 3.5. The decisions made by members of staff in respect to gameplay administration are final.
    • 3.5.1. Under no circumstances should you disrupt the gameplay of others if you disagree with the decision of a member of staff.
    • 3.5.2. If you disagree with the decision of a staff member (such as a punishment) you may respectfully appeal this accordingly on Discord by creating a support ticket or engaging with a member of management if you wish to do so.

4. Advertising & External Content

Advertising any content such as servers, social media or any other external third-party content not moderated nor owned by LSPD:FR Online is strictly prohibited and is not allowed under any circumstances.

  • Server advertising is classed as discussing another server, a server's IP address, name and/or other credentials under the motive to advertise the server.
  • Advertising is classed as discussing, promoting, or drawing attention to by any means towards any third-party content (such as social media)
  • 4.1. Advertising and/or discussing any server that is not owned, run or moderated by LSPD:FR Online is against the rules, and you will be immediately banned. Advertising also falls under the category of saying a server name with the intention of wanting other players to join the server stated or using it in a promotional context.
    • 4.1.2. Private messaging other players or sending them advertisements is also bannable, however discussing a server that you play on with someone else who already knows about the server is allowed, though must be strictly over private messages.
  • 4.2. In the event of advertising by means of distributing a server's credentials such as IP address, website, and/or domain, regardless of such credentials being valid or real, incorrect or correct, the rules still apply as we cannot distinguish between legible or false advertising information.

5. Aiding & Abetting

Aiding and abetting is hereby defined as the act of aiding, helping and/or assisting someone else to violate the server rules.

  • 5.1. Any player who aids, assists, tells/asks another player to and/or helps another player in breaking any of the server rules as listed on this page are equally liable to receiving the same punishment.
  • 5.2. In the event a player obtains the knowledge and knowing facts that another player is breaking the server rules, they are required to report the information to a member of staff. Failing to do so within a reasonable time frame will result in punishment.
  • 5.3. Any player who is aware of information that can cause abuse via a bug, glitch, command, item or anything of the sorts, where it shouldn't normally be possible, past or present, and the player actively harbors the information and/or distributes it to other players will be subject to punishment equal to that of the normal time issued for those conducting said abuse.

6. Entrapment

Entrapment is the act of inciting, persuading or inducing another player into violating a server rule that the player would not have originally broken and/or would be unlikely to violate.

  • 6.1. Attempting to or following through with entrapment on another member of the community to violate any of the community regulations is equally as punishable as the original offence, doing so can result in punishment.

7. Impersonation

Impersonating another player is not allowed, this is when someone pretends to be someone else, when they are not. Impersonation undermines trust and gameplay integrity.

  • 7.1. Impersonating a staff member is not allowed and is prohibited, saying you are a staff member when you are not is considered staff impersonation.
  • 7.2. This rule extends to either using another player and/or staff member's account name/username as your own in any manner.

8. Account Sharing / Multiple Accounts

Account sharing is not allowed; this is when you give your account details to someone else to allow them to play on your account, or partake in using another player's account on the server.

  • 8.1. You are responsible for your account and its actions, including ensuring your account is appropriately secured such that it cannot be breached or misused by anyone else — any actions conducted using your account will not be disregarded under any claims relating to whether you were in control of your account while any rules were broken during its usage.
  • 8.2. The act of selling, trading or giving away your account is prohibited and is not allowed under any circumstances. The original creator of an account must be the only person at any given time who has primary access to use their account.
  • 8.3. In the event an account is banned whilst they have other accounts which exist under the same IP, ALL ACCOUNTS under the address will also be banned as we cannot determine if the player being banned owns the other accounts or not.
  • 8.4. Giving temporary access of your account to another player for assistance, personal gain or any other reason is not allowed and not a justified reason. In the event your account is punished whilst you share accounts, your account will retain that punishment as you are responsible for your own account and its actions.

9. Entitlements

Access to certain gameplay content is gated to entitlements which are obtained through store purchases from the official LSPD:FR Online Store. Monetized content gives exclusive access to players who can purchase packages that offer access to extended gameplay content while supporting the server: this is hereby known as an entitlement of which is granted to the LSPD:FR Online account of which the package is redeemed on and its contents as described on the package page within the official store then become available for use.

  • 9.1. Access to entitlements and their gameplay contents must only be accessible or used by players who are entitled to do so.
    • 9.1.1. The exploitation of bugs, glitches, or the lack of script-gated preventions for gameplay content that is intended to be locked to an entitlement is strictly prohibited.
  • 9.2. All gameplay functionality and features that are made available through a store package or its entitlements are always subject to the server rules as normal at all times — the usage of any entitlement does not give you any privileges or the right to violate rules under any circumstances.

9.3. Air Support Unit

Access to the Air Support Unit entitles players to access additional gameplay content such as air vehicles which come with additional gameplay restrictions. The helicopter is an air vehicle that gives players the freedom to roam the skies at any altitude, however great caution must be taken to ensure you do not abuse, misuse, and/or affect the gameplay quality of other players in the same manner that is expected from everyone. Access to air vehicles does not give you the right to misconduct — behaviors such as roaming out of your jurisdiction without reason, flying erratically, conducting unrealistic aerial manoeuvres, or other behavior that does not fall in-line with our community rules and regulations will result in immediate revocation of your gameplay entitlement as well as administrative punishment against your account.

  • 9.3.1. Always maintain a realistic altitude from the ground at all times: flying too low can be dangerous and disruptive to other players.
  • 9.3.2. Do not land your helicopter anywhere other than your department's heliports.
  • 9.3.3. Patrol within your jurisdiction — similar to patrolling in a car, stick to your jurisdiction unless your active call leads out of your zone, or if air support backup is explicitly requested by another player.
  • 9.3.4. Monitor your fuel levels closely! Running out of fuel mid-flight can be dangerous and disruptive; as a pilot it is your responsibility to ensure you return to base well in advance before you run out of fuel.

10. Limitation of Liability

The server is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of game progress, virtual items, or data.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the server at any time
  • Reset player data for technical or gameplay reasons
